Opportunity exists for an Industrial Relations/Labour Compliance officer who will be based in Cork and who will carry out work in the Munster region. (Full training will be provided)
The role will entail:
Provide information and advice to clients, contractors and employees on sectoral employment orders and employment law generally.
Carry out IR contractor audits which would include a review of contractor practices regarding compliance with terms and conditions of employment and relevant labour legislation.
Build relationships at all levels in the workplace in order to reduce potential industrial relations issues arising.
Candidates should have a background in Human Resources or a related field or a desire to develop a career in this area. Applicants with a background or studies in accountancy/compliance will also be considered. Successful candidate will be self-motivated and have good communication and interpersonal skills. Good computer literacy and organizational skills are essential.
